Question for those of you who work on iPads. I do all of my writing on the iOS app Final Draft Writer, and while sometimes buggy, up until recently it's gotten the job done just fine. Until today I was working on a shitty second generation iPad Mini, and due to the ancient processor, after about twenty minutes of work any characters I entered into the app experienced about a quarter of a second's worth of delay before appearing on the screen. Today I decided that I'd dealt with it long enough and upgraded to an iPad Pro 10.5'. I downloaded the FD Writer app and went to import my scripts from Dropbox onto the device, only to find when I opened them that they were completely blank. The page count was still correct, but everything was completely blank and I couldn't type anywhere.
The pre installed scripts that come with the app showed the same problem, and starting a new one from scratch also didn't work. I uninstalled and reinstalled the software, but that fixed nothing. Some recent reviews of the newest version on the App Store seem to express the same problem, but Googling has thus far given me no answers. Has anyone here experienced similar issues, and if so, do you know of a fix?
I'm going to contact FD customer support tomorrow afternoon, but if anyone knows something I can do in the meantime, I'd be really grateful. I can continue writing on the iPad Mini until I find a fix, but that's highly unfavorable. It's a huge bummer because I upgraded to this new device mainly to improve performance with FD Writer, and now it simply does not work at all.
Thanks in advance for any help. For anyone curious, I just spoke with Final Draft's technical support and it looks like it's a problem specific to the new iPad Pro 10.5' models - bummer. Here's the full explanation: That’s actually a brand new issue that is specific to that device. Our engineers were able to identify the issue after obtaining the device for testing.

They are currently working on a patch for the FDW app that will resolve the problem. Although we don't have an exact timetable for the release of that update, rest assured that it is a top priority to restore full functionality the app as quickly as possible.
Be sure to periodically check the Updates tab in the App store for when the update becomes available in the very near future. We’ve also recently confirmed that the beta of the next iOS, 10.3.3., solves the issue on Apple’s end. As you can imagine, we can’t say when Apple will release 10.3.3., but I thought you’d like to know that it will be solved if they release their update before we release ours.
